  1. Les,
The last photo of the maple over the pond is breath taking. I once had a job where I got to watch and photograph 1500 Monarchs open their wings with the days first light!

    The word verification is unreadable...

  15. Les,
I’m so happy you are enjoying your new job so much. What is the tree in your Asia Morning photo?

  16. I discovered you via gardeninacity and so glad I did. I spent over 15 years in ad agencies and these images would have duly impressed an art director.
My favorite is the thin curtain of leaves masking the pine tree. Bravo on all of them.

  21. Thanks everyone for the really positive comments. Sometimes I come across the combined circumstances of light, place and time - and I have remembered my camera - I know the photos will come out well. To those of you who asked the tree in the last photo is a Japanese maple (Acer palmatum). I am not sure if it was a special cultivar, but it was indeed special.

    Les
