What Sexy Is

ReplyDeleteWow, this is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I just visited the water lilies at Longwood, one of my favorite parts of that garden.
ReplyDeleteThat's one sexy lotus! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh my...sexy indeed.
ReplyDeleteWow...that is one sexy Lotus blossom.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures (as usual) and I agree that nothing is more spectacular than lotus flowers in all of their stages.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Superb! I had no idea this is looked like this up close. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs. It is funny that flowers are sexy to people, even though we are not pollinators.
ReplyDeleteLove this series!
ReplyDeleteThese are lotus flowers not waterlilies aren't they? I don't know much about Lotus flowers, but I find the structure at the centre of the flower intriguing. The stamens seem to embrace the central portion of the flower. Definitely sexy!
ReplyDeleteNaughty, naughty flowers ! lol
ReplyDeleteIt's a sexy dance with a water lilly.
ReplyDeleteDare I say you make love with your camera?
Thanks for sharing your beautiful close-ups!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for taking to the time to leave such nice comments. These were blooming in the Japanese Garden pond at work this past week, and I hope they will keep going a bit longer. They are Nelumbo nucifera 'Hindu', and not only are they visually beautiful, they have a nice mild anise fragrance as well.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular...I can't quit looking at them.
ReplyDeleteSexy indeed. Love lotus flowers. I had some seeds from someone, wonder where I put them?
