  12. Geeze, we're plum out of caterpillars this year. 20 monarchs was all, and maybe the same black swallowtails. Droughts-ville.

  13. Butterfly caterpillars are so beautiful and very photogenic. My property is loaded with spice bushes but I have never seen a spice bush swallowtail.
