October Skies

October Skies

It was fairly cloudy most of the day here, and rain began falling late in the afternoon. On the way home from work I made a stop to pick up some flowers (tomorrow is our anniversary), and as I was leaving the store the sun broke through the last few minutes of the day. The sky began to glow, and I dashed behind the shopping center to get a picture. In an instant it was over.

The photos are amazing. I can't even imagine what it must have been like in person.

What a spectacular sunset. I don't know which is more beautiful, the color in the sky or the color in the water.

Wow! I would have guessed you were in the Africa from those gorgeous sunsets, not behind a shopping center! I can imagine it was even better in person although these images are fabulous. I also enjoyed seeing more of your leaf hiking photos below.

Happy Anniversary!

Wonderful colors. Would be nice if nature sent us an email when it was planning a sunset spectacular. I only rarely get both sunset and picture... :)
